To Achieve Our Mission We:
Identify and unite with nonprofits that assist the environment, animal welfare, and people in require in each city chapter (including organizations not traditionally associated with the Queer community)
Support select organizations through volunteer service (time), and help to amplify their missions through our immense network of LGBTQ+ volunteers.
Coordinate social events for Homosexual For Good’s LGBTQ+ volunteers, and our allies, to develop friendships and network
Foster and promote a liveliness of positive, enthusiastic camaraderie both within the Diverse community and towards our neighbors and nonprofit match organizations

Make A Differenc A welcoming community center for youth up to age 21 and their families. One of San Diego’s most vulnerable populations, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual person, Transgender and Questioning (LGBTQ) youth, often suffer because of non-supportive or even hostile environments in their homes, schools, and communities. Located at SBCS Trolley Trestle Youth Hub, Our Safe Place (OSP) provides a wide variety of services for youth and their families, including support for alcohol and drug abuse, coming out, depression, family relationships, gender identity, sexual health, safe virtual dating and transitioning. Our Secure Place is a collaborative program with San Diego Youth Services and the YMCA of San Diego County. Each partner provides a drop-in center and San Diego Youth Services also provides a mental health clinic. The program is funded by the County of San Diego Health and Human Services Agency. From GSA meet-ups to youth-led events, there are a number of ways you can obtain involved as an LGBTQ youth, faculty, or guardian. PYC is dedicated to governance, professional development, and building community for LGBTQIA+ junior and high-school aged youth. From interactive workshops to volunteering, we focus on providing opportunities for Queer youth to engage in causes they are emotional about while building their socio-emotional skills in a safe and affirming environment. Every second Saturday of the month from 11am to 2pm. Locations vary monthly. Click below to sign-up for PYC.
