Ariana Madix responds to theories she and Tom Sandoval are both ‘in the closet’

Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval are the real deal.

Madix shut down “Vanderpump Rules” fans’ unfounded theories that she and her longtime boyfriend are both secretly gay.

“I contemplate people see my connection with Tom … as nontraditional in a lot of ways, and they think there’s got to be more to it, you know? [Like] I’m in the closet or Tom’s in the closet,” she told Page Six exclusively at the Bravo reality show’s Season 10 premiere party Tuesday.

Madix, 37, emphasized that she and Sandoval, 39, are “open about” the different aspects of their love existence on TV, so “there’s really no other layers” to divulge — despite what viewers may think.

Madix brought up the topic while discussing Scheana Shay’s comment in the “Pump Rules” trailer that Katie Maloney had told her Madix and Sandoval are in an “open relationship.” Shortly after the teaser dropped last month, Madix took to Twitter to clear the air.

“we dont have an open relationship,” she clarified

Vanderpump Rules' Explosive Reunion Part One: BIGGEST BOMBSHELLS

Tom Sandoval is SUR-ving up his side of the story.

The Vanderpump Rules star, who broke up with Ariana Madix earlier this year after his months-long affair with Raquel Leviss was exposed, defended himself during the Bravo show's May 24 reunion episode. While speaking about the couple's fallout, Sandoval claimed that he and Madix weren't always on good terms during their nine years together.

"Ariana and I kept our relationship pretty intimate for many years," the 40-year-old explained. "We had issues. I felt enjoy I was her gay BFF. We put on a front when we were filming and I even talked to our showrunner. For us to be having these issues and keeping it from people, I just didn't think it was fair to the rest of the cast."

A never-before-seen flashback from September 2022 showed Sandoval telling a VPR producer, "I feel guilty, people put themselves out there, man. It's not fair. I feel like it's important for us to, like, discuss about this s--t a
