Here’s what you need to know about Phoenix Celebration Festival 2024
PHOENIX — This year’s Phoenix Pride Festival will celebrate the Homosexual community in the Valley.
Although Pride in other cities is typically celebrated in June to honor the Stonewall Uprising, Phoenix celebrates Pride in the plunge due to hot summer temperatures.
The 2024 Phoenix Parade Festival will kick off at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Steele Indian Educational facility Park, which is adjacent Central Avenue and Indian School Road.
Vibrant colors will then lighten up the streets of downtown Phoenix on Sunday once the parade sashays through the city.
The Phoenix Pride Procession will begin on Third Street between Thomas and Indian School roads at 10 a.m. Sunday.
Chef Silvana Salcido Esparza of Barrio Queen, American Idol celestial body David Hernandez and Gov. Katie Hobbs will help as the parade’s Group Grand Marshals.
The parade is free and open to all ages. It is expected to garner more than 3,000 participants and more than 10,000 spectators.

2025 Mx Phoenix Pride Pageant

The Phoenix Pride pageant system will increase its family of reigning royalty by crowning a titleholder in a unused division: the Mx (pronounced mix) Phoenix Pride pageant. Ten contestants will compete in the categories of fundraising, parade of contestants (only non-judged category), red carpet fashion, on-stage question and answer, and talent.

Get ready to raise your flag: The 2024 Phoenix Pride parade and festival are almost here.
The Phoenix Pride Parade, scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 20, is a vibrant celebration of the LGBTQ+ and allied communities in metro Phoenix. It's expected to hold more than 2,000 participants, including colorful floats, decorated vehicles and thousands of walkers.
