    As I be

    Romans 6:1-11

The Scripture readings foreshadowed what I want to contribute with you this morning about one of the most significant implications of the Gospel, and one that is in dire want of redressing in our modern evening. In the word of the Gospel, we learn that God saves sinners. We learn that God reconciles sinners to himself, not counting their trespasses against them because of the atoning death of Jesus Christ on the cross.

All who repent of their sins and put their faith in Christ, God delivers them from death. He delivers them from suffering an permanent wrath of verdict for their sins. Instead of that wrath and suffering, he removes that, and he gives them in its place a unused life to inhabit , empowered by the Holy Spirit.

And that’s it. That’s the Gospel. It takes unpacking, for sure, but that is the simple word of the Gospel. And yet how easily it has been ignored, that message of the Gospel. It’s been so easy for so many people to lose sight of that plain message that God saves sinners, and that he saves them from his own wrath.

And why has he been angry? Why has he been wrathful? Why will he judge those who continue in their sins with an eternity in ravi zacharias lgbtq-ti

    1. How can there be a loving God when so much wicked happens, especially to guiltless people?
Ravi Zacharias: Some of you may have seen our book, "Why suffering"? That we both wrote some time ago. This, of course, is probably the thorniest question that we ask of ourselves or we ask of each other, especially if you see yourself in a situation where nothing seems explainable. What I'd like to do is to give you the broad backdrop and permit Vince then, can accept care because his dissertation was on this in a very specific way about each individual, but I like to grant my answer about four folios here, and I've tried to race through this. Just examine the question first. As I have already demonstrated, the fact that evil is even postulated as a category can only be assumed if we acquire a created order and if we have intrinsic worth as individuals.

I retain years ago, in Nottingham, when a student stood up and said to me, "There is too much of evil and suffering in this society, therefore, there cannot be a God". And he was very irate about it, and I could tell he was emotional. So, I said, "When you say there's wicked and you're
